Computing at Bushmead
At Bushmead Primary School, we follow a computing curriculum called Purple Mash. The children have access to the website both at school and at home. The children can use the games and activities to learn skills in Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy. To explore Purple Mash at home, please click on the link in our useful websites page below.
We also provide opportunities for everyone to use a range of computing skills across the curriculum through our range of equipment, including Ipads, netbooks, BeeBots, cameras and much more. We are very lucky to have three computing suites at the school which are used not only in computing lessons but throughout the whole curriculum.
As children leave Bushmead Primary School in Year 6, we aim for them to be Computer Scientists who are prepared for the ever-changing digital world. They will know how to use a range of technology confidently, responsibly and safely
