Monday 1st June

What a great start to the new half term, with your amazing work! Well done everyone. You showed great understanding of today's text in the comprehension task and also know how to calculate division. You have sent in some photos of very tasty healthy snacks, yummy! It's a great idea to use cutting, chopping, peeling and grating skills when making your snacks, as this is also part of the year 2 curriculum.

 

 

Tuesday 2nd June 

Well done everyone. You have continued to answer the division questions well using the equal groups. 

We have enjoyed seeing your videos and photos of your healthy snacks. You have made us very hungry. Keep up the good work! 

 

Wednesday 3rd June

More fantastic work seen today, well done to everyone who has sent their work to their teacher. We can see that your division understanding is really coming along well. Well done for using your skills to work out the answers. It has been great to see your delicious healthy meals! You have put loads of thought into which foods you are eating from all food groups. Great work.

 

Thursday 4th June 

A huge well done Year 2. You have had another great day of home learning. You have shown a great understanding of being able to divide by 5. You have also produced some lovely English work. Remember to include the correct punctuation when writing an expanded noun phrase.

We have received lots of lovely still life pictures, of pieces of fruit and fruit bowls. Keep sending in your topic work. Keep up the good work everyone! 

 

Friday 5th June

Well done for all the children who completed the maths reasoning task, this really shows great application of division and multiplication facts. Lots of you have created your own exercises too. Keep reading your books on BugClub. Well done.
