Thursday 9th July

A huge well done for today's work Year 2! You have written some lovely stories  We have been very impressed with your use of different sentence types. You have done a great job of  measuring in grams today too. Keep up the good work everyone! 

 

Wednesday 8th July

Great start with your story writing today, you really do remember how to write expanded noun phrases. Think about starting sentences in different ways such as with adjectives, similes, verbs or adverbs. 

 

Tuesday 7th July

Well done for weight items and for learning how to measure mass in kg and g. Remember that 1,000 grams equal 1kg. You have shown some great imagination for your scene when you come through the tunnel with great pictures.

 

Monday 6th July

Well done for today's work - the children have definitely kept up their wonderful comprehension skills. A good idea in maths is to weigh some objects at home and also to guess their weight.
