Monday 20th April
We hope you have all had a lovely break.
A massive thank you for all of the work we have been sent today. Well done Year 2! The teachers have loved looking at your work, you are all working very hard. You have especially made a great start to the habitat activities.
Just a reminder that when you are taking part in math activities, try to use the methods we use at school. There are some examples at the top of this page.
Have a lovely evening.

Well done for your continued hard work Year 2, we are so proud of the work that you are producing. It is great to see what you have learnt and the skills you are using independently.
We have received some fantastic letters from Goldilocks today. How creative you are!
Well done for remembering to use the correct punctuation and adding an opening and a closing section to your letters. A massive well done if you have used different sentence types in your letter and remembered to use question marks, exclamation marks and full stops.
Remember to always check your spelling and that your writing makes sense when you check it at the end.
Wednesday 22nd April
Another brilliant day of work from Year 2. We have loved seeing your reasoning skills in maths and your fantastic letters. Are you going to send your letters in the post? We think they would put some smiles on your family's faces.
Don't worry if you can't print a worksheet, just try your best to answer on some paper.

A huge thank you to everyone for their hard work today.
It looks like you all enjoyed reading ‘The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ extract. Well done for using the text to find out about Willy Wonka.
Each one of you have also made a fantastic effort at finding fractions of a number.
Please keep on sending in your topic work on habitats. All of the teachers have been enjoying looking at your creative work.

We have read extremely creative and detailed letters to Willy Wonka today. Well done for implementing skills we have taught you. We have seen different sentence types, commas in a list, sentence openers and accurate punctuation. Great work!
Overall, we have seen brilliant work this week - a massive well done to everyone! Your habitats have been so imaginative! If you haven't sent your habitat through yet, we would love to see them! If possible, we would like the children to complete at least 2 pieces of topic work next week please.
