Monday 30th March

Wow! We have seen amazing work from Year 2 today. What fantastic story plans you have created - we can't wait to read your stories at the end of the week. Below is a sample of some of the wonderful pictures we have received today, as well as super maths work.

We are getting more blog post's everyday! It is great to see what everyone has been up to.

Keep up the good work!

Tuesday 31st March

Thank you again to everyone who has sent us their work. We have enjoyed reading your ideas for your Magic Tree story. Well done to everyone who has had a go at the money work today. It has been great to see people using their real money to help them.

We hope you have enjoyed your activities today.

Have a lovely evening and we look forward to seeing your work tomorrow.

Wednesday 1st April

We have had more lovely work from Year 2 today.

We have enjoyed finding out more information about your Magic Tree story.

Also, we have been extremely impressed with your math work on money.  Just a reminder, when writing each amount please keep the place value. For example, £5.1 should be written as £5.01.

Below is a sample of some of the fantastic work we have received today.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all of the grownups for their hard work too.

Have a lovely evening and we look forward to receiving more work tomorrow.

Thursday 2nd April

All we can say is.... Wow!! Your tree designs have been absolutely amazing today, you have all put so much effort into them and they are all unique in their own way. We have really enjoyed seeing your creations today, keep them coming!

You might have noticed the PurpleMash website has been down for some of the day, well done for everyone who has been on other online platforms. PurpleMash should be working as normal now.

Remember to be careful when counting your change. If you are using £1 this is the same as 100 pennies. It is important to remember your unit of measure (£ and p) when writing amounts.

Well done for all your hard work today, you have made the Year 2 teachers smile.

Friday 3rd April

Has it really been two weeks? Well done everyone for keeping going with your work. You have done a super job and we are really proud of you. Your stories have been fantastic and we have really enjoyed watching the build up towards you writing.
We hope you enjoy your two weeks of relaxing and we are already excited to see what you can achieve whilst home learning after the break.

Thank you for all of your lovely messages... They mean a lot to us!
