Super work today Year 2! We have been very impressed with your newspaper reports. Remember to read your work back to check for any mistakes. You have all done a brilliant job with sorting 2D shapes. Keep up the good work everyone! 

 

Wednesday 24th June

Well done for continuing to impress us today, your work has been excellent. So many of you drew the correct lines of symmetry onto each shape. Remember to use a ruler to make your lines of symmetry accurate. Some shapes have more than one line of symmetry too. A great start to your writing, we are looking forward to reading the finished pieces tomorrow.

 

Tuesday 23rd June

Brilliant work today. Your writing has really impressed us as we have seen lots of different sentence types, brilliant description and super expanded noun phrases. Your shape work has been great and we are impressed with your ruler skills. Keep trying hard to keep those lines straight and make sure your ruler is the correct way round.

Great work with comprehension today, especially with finding words with similar meanings. You have remembered about sides and vertices well in 2D shape. Remember when you draw shapes to use a ruler.
