We have made it to Friday everyone! A huge thank you to both you and your grown-ups for working so hard this week.

Today, we received lots of brilliant comprehension work about Oceania, well done Year 2! We would also like to say a huge well done to those of you who read on Bug Club today.

You all did a super job of completing the White Rose maths sheet. 

We hope you enjoyed watching Mrs Coombes' video, we know how much you must miss her music lessons.

Happy Thursday Year 2! 

A huge well done to those children who have sent in their completed stories, we have been very impressed with how much effort you have put in! Many of you have included expanded noun phrases, different sentence openers and thought very carefully about your use of punctuation throughout. Take a look at some of the brilliant examples below.

Another day of fantastic work Year 2! We are extremely proud of you all 

Today, we were lucky enough to read lots of your very amazing, creative stories! Lots of you included great sentence starters and expanded noun phrases in your writing which we were very impressed with. Have a look at photos below to see some brilliant examples!

In maths, there were different questions where you needed to make the same amount of money but in different ways, you all did a great job of answering these questions. Well done to those who completed the extension question too. We also saw some super topic work which we hope you enjoyed completing.

Feedback for Tuesday 26th January 2021 

Another fantastic day of home learning Year 2! You should all be very proud of your hard work. 

We were very impressed to see all of your leaflets for the Computing task today. Everybody had used their computing skills to insert pictures from clip art and type in their own text, well done Year 2! 

In English, lots of you created brilliant, detailed plans ready for tomorrow's lesson of writing your own version of Leaf. Also a huge well done to those children who read their work out loud! 

You all showed a good understanding of today's maths task. Just remember to write the letter 'p' for pence after the number and the '£' sign before the number when writing your answers.

Happy Monday! We hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the snow. 

Well done for all of your hard work today, we are very impressed with all of your work. We loved looking at all of your character and setting choices. 

In maths, you have done a super job of selecting coins to find a given amount, well done! 

You have also done a great job of completing different activities from the spelling menu.
