Monday 18^th May 

Happy Monday! We hope you all had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. This week our learning topic is all about significant sports players. We have seen brilliant comprehension work all about Jessica Ennis-Hill, well done for using your reading skills to retrieve information from the text. Super work! As well as amazing English work, we have also seen excellent multiplication work, well done!

Keep up the good work! Tomorrow we will be thinking about Usain Bolt.

 

Tuesday 19th May 

Another day of super work. You have all worked really hard to solve the multiplication problems using arrays. We are also really impressed with your vocabulary today in your English task. We are enjoying seeing your topic work. Keep up the great work. 

 

Wednesday 20th May 

Great work today everyone. Your Usain Bolt drawings have been fantastic! We are looking forward to reading your diary entries tomorrow. 

Super maths work today everybody! It is great to see you all becoming a lot more confident with your multiplication skills.

Thursday 21st May

Year 2, we can tell that you are loving this week's topic on sports players - we have seen absolutely amazing work! Your Usain Bolt diaries have included so many fantastic writing features such as feelings, description, sentence openers and lots of detail!
