2020/2021 Reading Challenge.

If you love reading and want to challenge yourself, Reading Champions is for you!

The challenge is to read all 20 books from your Year group list (a minimum of 15 books for Year 5 and 6).

If you complete this then you will be awarded with a Reading Champion badge to wear with pride. 

Each year group has a different badge to collect.

Information for parents:

This is a year long challenge to allow children the time to read other books alongside the Reading Champion books. The deadline to complete this challenge is the end of the Summer Term 2021. 

We understand at this time that for many of the pupils obtaining paper copies of the texts on the list will be difficult. Therefore any pupils who wish to still complete the challenge can do so with the aid of audiobooks.

Many books are available free through Audible books (www.amazon.co.uk) or can be found in picture/video form on YouTube. 

Books are also available online from your local library. 

Parents will need to email hscarrott@bushmeadprimaryschool.co.uk to inform the school their child has completed the challenge, including your child's name, Year group and class.
