Lesson 4 LO: To write the opening of a diary

You are now going to write your opening/introduction. Look at the example to get an idea of what you could write.

26th March 2020

 

Dear Diary,

 

Well, it all started off as a normal day. Little and Middle Gruff were bickering as usual. The local grass is pretty much gone now and we’re all getting hungry. Earlier this week, Big Billy  mentioned that there is a fresh pasture not too far away. He pulled a weird face and said it can be tricky to get to, but I don’t see what can be so tricky about a trot down the road! Although, the boys will probably butt horns and moan about their hooves hurting.
