This is not the way any of us were hoping to welcome you back to a new term but we are here and ready to support you as we begin our home learning journey together again.

 

In order to support the children it is vital that you keep in regular contact with your child’s class teacher/s. We do understand that many families will be facing all sorts of challenges and juggling different commitments but please keep in touch with us. Our main aim continues to be to support you and your children in the best way that we can, without adding to pressures, in these difficult times. General well-being and health comes first so we are trying to strike a balance to help learning continue without it becoming too stressful in households! Therefore, remember to mix in hobbies, games, exercise, a little TV and as much fun as you can with our daily tasks. 

 

We will continue to set daily tasks for Maths, English and Phonics which will be sent out each morning via Parentmail. Please be aware that there are 2 different tasks set for phonics. Your child only needs to complete the work set by their phonics teacher, please note this may be different to their class teacher. All the work and information needed is also added to our web page the evening before and shown in different formats if required. School expectations are that the work set is submitted each day to class teachers via their email.

 

Reading daily at home is of great importance so please continue to access Bug Club as well as using any other reading materials you may have. If you need log in details or further guidance on this please contact your child’s class teacher.

As always we will try to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. If you have any problems accessing home learning please let your child’s teacher know and we will try to support you. 

 

We obviously miss the children and hope they settle into new ‘routines’ quickly.
